This beautiful bird radiates the importance of self-love and self-care right off the canvas. In the past, I’ll admit I saw even simple acts like putting sunscreen on or curling my hair as such a burden, as something I did out of an external need to look presentable. But over the years I’ve learned to see those little acts of ‘preening’, a bit of nail polish here, a bit of makeup there as tiny rituals you do for yourself, not for the world. This birdie would find a wonderful spot in your home wherever you want to bring a little softness into your environment.
